Mission Workshop Rambler
The Rambler is my new bag for the rigours of regular bike riding around the city thanks to Mission Workshop. Obviously that’s not me though… I can’t make a pack look quite so cool no matter how hard I try and I couldn’t grow that much hair anymore even if I wanted to.
I’m really impressed with it! I decided to go with a pack as I think the messenger bag I’ve used for the last few years, that has served me so well, has been giving me back issues.
The Rambler is the business. It’s constructed extremely well (built in the US), light yet sturdy, comfortable and impervious to the weather. I have no doubt it’ll get through the rain, hail, wind and shine it will be subjected to while keeping my camera, journal, Bible, laptop and all my other goodies perfectly safe and dry.
The bonus with getting a pack is that it will travel with me as well whereas the messenger bag just wasn’t practical for traveling. So the Rambler covers another big requirement in a bag for me. It’ll get to see some of the back blocks of the world.

A classic look.
Wilier Triestina
Adam, cycleexif.comThe modern iteration of Wilier’s La Triestina is as different to its forebear as Alfa Romeo’s Spider is to a Tipo 33 — but at least the racing pedigree still runs through their veins. Wilier is an abbreviation for ‘Viva l’Italia Libera e Redenta’:…
A sublime vintage ride.
A Sense of Freedom in Aida on Flickr.
I shot this today in Aida refugee camp at Bethlehem. There were a few boys riding back and forth on the main road of the edge of the camp - a road controlled by the military and frequently used as an entry point for those soldiers when they undertake raids in the camp or respond to demonstrations.
