Q:Thoughts on the Wesleyan church's stance on homosexuality?

Anonymous

Sorry, I’m not a big fan of answering such questions on the Internet, especially when they’re anonymous. Such discussions are a minefield and I prefer to have them in person as the context of the person asking is almost more important than the question itself. Needless to say, being a Wesleyan Methodist Minister I uphold the Constitution of the Wesleyan Methodist Church of New Zealand. That said, such an answer doesn’t express all of my own nuanced thought around the issue.

I also have a stance of not giving much of an opinion on homosexuality in public forums. There are too many heated views from all sides and I prefer not to feed any of them. You’ll have to forgive me for not giving a much more solid answer here if it’s what you were hoping for.

Peace.
