He plays out...

Contact Energy: A Case Study « The Standard →

Gordon Campbell » On the plans for privatization →
Gordon Campbell and Tapu Misa are my two favourite NZ commentators who engage writing as their medium. This piece from Campbell, critiquing the planned partial privatization of state assets by the National government here in NZ is another strong article.

Mangere Bridge Walkway (by ibikenz) This is a video from Antoine who blogs over at Bike Friendly North Shore and is a fellow contributor to Cycling in Auckland (he’s been there a lot longer than me). The video is of the Mangere Bridge walkway that goes underneath the motorway bridge. I didn’t know this existed but it explains a bit of another path I have seen but not had a chance to...

Brothers in Arms is one of those projects. I would love your support and to know that a good amount of money is going towards...

This is my new cycle route to work. Google maps had told me it is 11.5km, but now I’ve had two other tools tell me it’s around 12.5km, including this map route supplied by Cyclemeter, the app I am using on my iPhone to get stats about my riding. Using Cyclemeter on my iPhone it tells me that my average speed was only 17.39km/h and my top speed was 39.80km/h. The average speed includes...
